Time is a creature. God created time but lives beyond time. God enters and occupies time as God sees fit but is not bound by time like you and I. Which means time is a gift- a delivery system to deliver the gift of God’s own self! Whether we are young or old, time is where we meet God because God ordered it to be so. Joel the prophet says time is where God pours out God’s spirit on “all flesh.” The place where men and women, the young and the old meet, God in dreams and visions and know that God is good and able in every age.

El tiempo es una criatura. Dios creó el tiempo, pero vive más allá del tiempo. Dios entra y ocupa el tiempo como Dios lo ve conveniente, pero no está atado por el tiempo como tú y yo. ¡Esto que significa que el tiempo es un regalo, un proceso en el cual Dios nos entrega el don de su propia presencia! Ya seamos jóvenes o viejos, el tiempo es donde nos encontramos con Dios, porque Dios ordenó que fuera de esa manera. El profeta Joel nos dice que el tiempo es donde Dios derrama su espíritu sobre «toda carne». El lugar donde hombres y mujeres, jóvenes y viejos se encuentran con Dios en sueños y visiones. Donde reconocen que Dios es bueno y poderoso en todo tiempo.
