We are pleased to announce that Sally Paris has been re-appointed Campus Missioner to serve our Kennesaw State University students. Sally is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Religious Studies Minor. Sally previously served in the role of Chaplain two years ago and is excited to be called back into ministry at KSU. As a graduate of the university, Sally has a unique understanding of life on a large residential and commuter campus and a special place in her heart for the university and the students.
Sally is a cradle Episcopalian and has been involved in many ministries within the diocese. She has a passion for youth and young adult ministry and a desire for young people to know and feel that they are an integral part of the life of our community. She serves on the Diocesan Youth Commission as well as Happening Design Team and is involved in other ministries that enable her to make connections with young people across the Diocese.
She is currently serving as Director of Youth Ministries to a thriving group of young people at St. Catherine’s in Marietta. It is because of these connections that she is familiar with many youth entering into different campus ministries this fall.
With an intentional focus on community building and relational ministry, Sally hopes to help the campus ministry at KSU continue to grow. By partnering with strong student leaders, she believes that we will continue to discern God’s will for the Episcopal Campus Ministry at KSU.
