The Rev. Laura Masterson currently serves as Priest-in-Charge at St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church in Buford, GA. Prior to her appointment there, she worked at Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington, KY as Associate Rector for Outreach and Welcome. Laura attended The Seminary of the Southwest beginning in 2017 (Hook ‘Em!) and prior to that was a teacher, specializing in early literacy and curriculum writing. After teaching, she became the President of The Community of Hope International for a year and currently serves as teaching faculty for them. Having taught in varied capacities in many places, she recognizes that the true image of God is diverse, inclusive, and welcoming.
