St. James offers people of all parishes a free retreat with Mark Dannenfelser, founding director of The Mindfulness Center of Atlanta, on Saturday October 18th, from 9am to noon in the parish hall at St. James.

Mark Dannenfelser “brings together mindfulness, contemplative wisdom, and psychological insight in a way that is accessible, grounded and deeply human…. His work is rooted in a reverence for nature, silence, and the arts.”

Come to this retreat to explore how intention, attention, and consent open us to God’s transforming presence.

This event is FREE to the public. Recommended donation $10, cash or check only, please. The retreat takes place in the parish hall of St. James, 161 Church St Marietta, GA 30060. Additional parking in the lot on Polk Street across the tracks.
