There’s so much that’s good about Jesus! Because of him, in no way, am I allowed to see myself as an ultimate waste of space.  Through him, I gain a perspective that everything around me is valuable…that everything is really gift. By his example, we understand that the natural way to live as human beings is in the mutual intimacy of giving and receiving.  What’s good about Jesus is he’s always making us more human. Though we want to “draw the whole world into the hungry stomach of our ego,” Jesus always sees us, all of us, as redeemable.

!Hay tanto que es bueno sobre Jesús! Por él, de ninguna manera, me es permitido verme a mí mismo como un desperdicio de espacio. A través de él, tengo una perspectiva de que todo lo que me rodea es valioso…que todo es un regalo. Por medio de su ejemplo, entendemos que la manera natural de vivir como seres humanos está en la intimidad mutua de dar y recibir. Lo bueno de Jesús es que él siempre nos está haciendo más humanos. Aunque queremos “atraer al mundo entero al estómago hambriento de nuestro ego,” Jesús siempre nos ve, a todos nosotros, como redimibles.
