Camp Mikell’s ministry provides an inclusive environment for faith-based summer camps for children and youth in a natural setting. Camp Mikell strives to be a home away from home for children in our diocese.

Located in beautiful northeast Georgia, Camp Mikell sits on 460 acres including mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and Little Toccoa Creek. Camp Mikell provides youth in our diocese a chance to give back to a place that has given so much to so many.

Established in 1941 by the Right Reverend Henry Judah Mikell, Bishop of Atlanta, Camp Mikell serves as a setting for faith-based education and recreation for young people. Over the years, it has developed into a year-round conference center and serves people of all ages in the diocese and its parishes as well as other groups whose purposes complement our mission.
