There is a time for everything, the Bible tells us. Except, there is no time for fear! Fear lowers the ceiling of possibility, shrinks our hearts and awakens our inner tyrants. Fear pits us against neighbors and decreases our dependence on God. Yet, people are fainting from fear all around us. They justify their fear by saying, “our times are uncertain.” They’re wrong! We live in difficult times, even challenging times, but we don’t live in uncertain times. Our times are not uncertain because God is certain! Our times are in God’s hands. And God is the “…same, yesterday and today and forever.”

El Mismo
Existe un tiempo para todo, nos dice la Biblia. Excepto que ¡no hay tiempo para el miedo! El miedo baja el techo de la posibilidad, encoge nuestros corazones y despierta nuestros tiranos internos. El miedo nos enfrenta a nuestros vecinos y disminuye nuestra dependencia en Dios. Sin embargo, las personas a nuestro alrededor se están desmayando por miedo. Ellos justifican su miedo al decir, “nuestros tiempos son inciertos.” ¡Ellos están equivocados! Vivimos en tiempos difíciles, incluso tiempos desafiantes, pero no vivimos en tiempos inciertos. ¡Nuestros tiempos no son inciertos porque Dios está seguro! Nuestros tiempos están en las manos de Dios. Y Dios es “…el mismo, ayer y hoy y por los siglos.”
