We care about heart trouble. Not just the trouble that affects the four-valved muscle in our chests. But, the trouble that causes people to lose faith and give into the world’s woes and ways. When we gather we say “Lift up your heart.” We do this because Jesus is helium for our hearts. He tells us, “Take heart, I have overcome the world.” Your eyes may dim with age. Your mind might go blank. Your height might shrink, and your hands and feet might rack with pain. But, to know that Jesus is the way, truth and life, your heart won’t give you any trouble.
Corazón
Nos importan los problemas del corazón. No solo el problema que afecta el músculo de cuatro válvulas que está en nuestros pechos. Pero, el problema que causa que las personas pierdan la fe y se entreguen a los caminos y dolores del mundo. Cuando nos reunimos decimos “Levanta tu corazón.” Hacemos esto porque Dios es helio para nuestros corazones. El nos dice, “¡Animense! Yo he vencido al mundo.” Tus ojos se pueden opacar con los años. Tu mente se puede quedar en blanco. Tu estatura se puede encoger, y a tus manos y pies les puede aumentar el dolor. Pero, al saber que Jesús es el camino, verdad y vida, tu corazón no te dara ningun problema.
