On Sunday, March 5th, The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection held a dedication liturgy for the new construction of a parish hall and the renovation of the former parish hall and kitchen. Although the project is not yet fully completed, the faithful of Resurrection joyfully gathered to join in the celebration led by The Rt. Rev. Don Wimberly and The Rev. Scott Kidd. As part of the liturgy, stories of remembrance were told by parishioners of the beginnings of the parish in White County and how this new project developed and has been faithfully enfolded into its history of mission and ministry in the North Georgia community. Completion of the project is expected to be completed by the first of April.
