Beth-Sarah Wright, Ph.D., has been named director of enrollment management at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. Wright holds a doctorate in performance studies from New York University, and she graduated from Princeton University with a degree in sociology and Afro-American studies. Wright also holds a master’s degree in anthropology from Cambridge University in England. Wright formerly taught at NYU and Spelman College, and serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry, at the Emory University School of Medicine. She is married to the Rt. Rev. Robert C. Wright, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.

The Rev. Ricardo Bailey has also been named the new school’s head chaplain and chaplain of the Upper School. Bailey comes to Holy Innocents’ from The Westminster Schools where he taught Sacred Scripture and The Modern Civil Rights Movement. He was previously a Roman Catholic priest in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta, and also served as the chaplain of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell. Bailey was formally received as an Episcopalian priest on Nov. 7, 2013. He has served at The Cathedral of Saint Philip in Buckhead as the priest associate for Hispanic ministry, and as the Vicar of the Episcopal Chapel of Emmaus House in Southwest Atlanta. Bailey will also serve as the Upper School chaplain.
