As we reflect on legacy and tradition this holiday season, we’ve been thinking about patchwork. The practice became popular during the Depression when families would stitch together clothing to make blankets: a collection of diverse items and materials brought together to serve a greater purpose.
This is also the way Emmaus House functions in our community: connecting residents to programs, services, and opportunities to create better lives for themselves and their families. The strength of any fabric is determined by how it’s woven together. Consider strengthening ours by donating to Emmaus House this holiday season.
