What impresses God? Well, let’s start with what doesn’t impress God. “God is unimpressed by the might of the horse or the strength of a man,” says the psalmist. Which means, God measures strength differently than the world. God takes pleasure in those who have such a heightened awareness of God that they respect, reverence, and worship God. That’s not simply going to church or doing the odd good deed. It’s having an understanding of the power differential between us and God that heightens our devotion and deepens our resolve to live differently. It’s being strong enough to acknowledge our weakness before God and strong enough to trust God’s grace and favor in the real world.

¿Qué impresiona a Dios? Bueno, comencemos con lo que no impresiona a Dios. “Dios no está impresionado por el poder del caballo o la fuerza de un hombre”, dice el salmista.
