2024 begins this week, so does the season we call Epiphany. Makes sense, God has manifested God’s self among us in the birth of Jesus, now we are invited to be newly, highly aware of God manifesting God’s self. So let’s begin at the beginning, with Genesis and creation. John Muir can help us: “When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.” Let’s let God’s beauty consume us this year.
