Using Anglican worship resources from the Book of Common Prayer, Enriching Our Worship, and different music resources, this Communion Service will have a different feel from our morning worship. The music at this service (acoustic and utilizing additional instruments) will feature new arrangements of traditional hymns and modern Christian music that reflects Vesper Voice’s ancient-modern style of worship. This service of Holy Communion is designed to be informal and yet reflecting the best of meaningful worship in the Episcopal tradition.
And if you would like to help with the service….
Vesper Voices Musicians Needed
We are looking for instrumentalists and singers to help lead the music for our 5:00 p.m. Vesper Voices services during the Easter season. We intend to use music beyond the 1982 Hymnal, such as contemporary and modern hymns, music from other countries and cultures, and folk music. If you play piano, guitar, a woodwind/string/brass instrument, or if you like drumming and playing percussion, we need you! Singers who are able to lead and singers who like to sing in the background are welcome to join our team. Once we see who is interested, we will establish a practice time. April 7 is our first Vesper Voices service, and they continue through May 12.
