St. Martin’s and Our Lady of Assumption’s Sr. Thea Bowman Racial Justice Ministry will co-host an evening with Dr. Catherine Meeks, Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing. She will discuss her latest book, The Night is Long, But Light Comes in the Morning. Dr. Meeks is a much sought-after teacher and workshop leader who brings four decades of experience to the work of transforming the dismantling of racial work in Atlanta.
There will be a light reception at 6:30 p.m. with the program starting at 7:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss this exciting evening at St. Martin’s. The Cathedral Bookstore will be on hand with copies of Dr. Meek’s book.
