Clergy Conferences are held annually at a location that facilitates a concentrated focus on areas of importance to clergy and are typically two days long. Attendance counts as Continuing Education.

A two-day online event exploring the role of compassion in this moment in the church’s ministry, and how the church can follow the Spirit’s leading in this time of disruption.
Monday, Sept 21, 8-10 AM
Plenary address by Bishop Wright, followed by small group discussions.
Tuesday, Sept 22, 8-11 AM
Plenary address by Dr. Dwight Zscheile, followed by small group discussions and facilitated conversations.
We’ve all been forced to pivot in this time of disruption in the church and broader society. How might we discern the Spirit’s openings amidst loss and change? What might it mean in this moment to deepen the church’s identity and our own leadership in the Triune God’s life and love for the world?

The Office of Congregational Vitality is offering a small gift to the first 50 registrants to enhance your experience of retreat during this event. All Clergy are required to attend the annual Clergy Conference. Clergy can receive up to 5 hours of Continuing Education credit for attending this event in its entirety.
