What you do for a veteran is often more important than what you say. How could you show your appreciation to an active service member or veteran for their service? What could you do on Veterans day and throughout the year?

Almighty God, we offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the men and women who have served our country in our armed forces at home and abroad. Bless them day by day with your heavenly grace and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
