When we are at a crossroad in life, do we remember the foundations that were instilled in us? Growing up in a household that has a strong belief in the Lord as well as the Bible can truly be life changing. I believe without God being my foundation I would not be the person I am today. In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he shares the blessings that God has left for his people. If only we would believe in him and follow his plan we would have access to these gifts. However, in a modern setting, is it more challenging to trust God without worry or hesitation? I know for myself transitioning from being a youth to a young adult has come with its own set of challenges. Remembering that God is my firm foundation is one way God has continued to show me to trust without hesitation. The lesson in this passage is to trust God in every capacity of life.
