DIOCESE OF ATLANTA – ECW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A warm invitation is extended to ALL ladies the of Diocese of Atlanta….Episcopal Church Women (ECW) Daughters of the King (DOK) & Altar Guilds to join the Diocese of Atlanta’s ECW Board for our 114th Fall Gathering on November 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church, 4346 Ridge Rd., Buford GA 30519.

Our guest speaker is Ms. Ann Fowler who was previously employed at the Cathedral of St. Phillip and most recently at Emmaus House where she worked in the field of education with adults and children. This summer, she walked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain.

Our theme this year is “LIVE IN THE LIGHT” a beacon and source of strength and encouragement for us in these challenging times. We will begin this year’s Gathering with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist with Reverend Laura Masterson as Celebrant.

Worship will be followed by a brief business meeting, presentations and lunch.

All registration forms must be received by Saturday, October 14, 2023 to assist the ladies of St. Mary and St. Martha to adequately prepare for our luncheon.

We are also inviting you to provide us with the names of ladies who passed away in 2022 and 2023. Please forward those names and the Parish where they worshipped to Faye Ann Lindo f.tlindo1@yahoo.com

We will be collecting items for our Outreach Ministries: Mimi’s Pantry (non-perishable food items, gift cards as well as Kroger cards) to help the students at the Atlanta University Center; Holy Comforter (socks, gift cards) Church of the Common Ground (new or gently worn women’s sneakers -large sizes for men, socks, throw blankets and travel size toiletries) We greatly appreciate your contributions!
