The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta is happy to announce that Bishop Wright has been selected as a board member of Habitat for Humanity International. Bishop Wright will serve on the Governance and Operations Committees board committees.
“We appreciate your commitment to this ministry and look forward to all we will accomplish together. I am confident your leadership and service will help advance the work of Habitat around the world,” said Habitat International Board Chair Brad Hewitt when welcoming Bishop Wright.
Bishop stated that he is excited and honored by the opportunity to serve on the policy-setting board. “I believe the work of Habitat for Humanity is so important in knitting together families and building futures for children,” he said. “There are many effective housing organizations, but Habitat sets and continues to be the gold standard.”
“Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.”
