First, we would like to congratulate two churches in our diocese for their awards. All Saints’ Episcopal Church for receiving an Award of Merit for their social media presence, specifically their Facebook and Instagram. We would also like to congratulate St. James Episcopal Church’s Communications Director, Amy Goetze, who was honored with an Award of Excellence for work on social media and an Honorable Mention for photography.
The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta is honored to receive awards for communication, marketing, design, and video by the Episcopal Communicators. This year, due to COVID-19, the conference was a virtual gathering hosted online on August 4-5. Episcopal Communicators presented our diocese with seven awards, including four awards of excellence, two awards of merit, and one honorable mention.
The communication efforts for the diocese are managed by Green Gate Marketing. The socially conscious Atlanta-based marketing agency has partnered with the diocese since 2016 and serves as the diocesan design and communications team.
