SUMMARY:Contemplative Outreach Retreat with Carl McColman: "The Healing of Our Hearts — And Our World"

The day will include time for Centering Prayer\, personal reflection\, talks by our presenter\, and opportunities for shared reflection an contemplative dialogue. \nCarl McColman is a contemplative author and spiritual teacher. His books include The New Big Book of Christian Mysticism; Eternal Heart: The Mystical Path to a Joyful Life; An Invitation to Celtic Wisdom; and his most recent Read the Bible Like a Mystic: Contemplative Wisdom and the Word. A long-time practitioner of Centering Prayer\, Carl has led Centering Prayer workshops and numerous retreats for Contemplative Outreach\nof Atlanta\, Ignatius House\, and other organizations. \nThe cost for the day (including lunch) is $50. SUMMARY:Dunwoody Oktoberfest
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Dunwoody Oktoberfest is an action-packed\, family-friendly event open to the entire community and free to attend. And as much as love our furry friends\, we kindly ask that pets stay home during the event. \nSt. Patrick’s Episcopal Church is hosting this year’s Oktoberfest so that all proceeds from food\, drinks\, and activities can benefit the community ministries of St. Patrick’s\, including Malachi’s Storehouse and Anchor Place Respite Dunwoody. \nThis event is a reflection of the church’s four pillars – Welcome\, Love\, Nurture\, and Feed. We are thrilled to bring the community together for a fun event with plenty of activities for children and adults. \nClick here to learn more about this event. \n
