How’s your Christian formation going? Not just hearing the words of the Potter but allowing them to shape you, the marriage, the money, the response to fear, the response to neighbor. It’s worth it to ask: What categories of my life do I push the hands of the Maker away and say I know best?

But don’t stop at the question. Confess with the author of Proverbs that “the beginning of wisdom is awe and reverence of God and that the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Glory to the Potter. Choose to be clay today.

Arcilla

Jeremías escuchó un susurro de Dios: Ve y mira el alfarero trabajar con la arcilla. Mira como el toma algo defectuoso y en mal estado y lo vuelve a moldear de acuerdo a su buen propósito. ¡Hay una imagen espectacular para nuestra mejor relación con Dios! Arcilla maleable, sobre un mundo giratorio, en las manos de un alfarero genial. 

¿Como va tu formación Cristiana? No solo escuchar las palabras del Arcillero pero dejar que te den forma, el matrimonio, el dinero, la respuesta al miedo, la respuesta al prójimo. Vale la pena preguntar ¿En qué categorías de mi vida retiro las manos del Creador y digo que yo se que es lo mejor?

Pero no te detengas en la pregunta. Confiésate con el autor de Proverbios que “el comienzo de la sabiduría es admiración y reverencia a Dios y que el conocimiento del Santísimo es entendimiento.” ¡Gloria al Arcillero! ¡Elige ser arcilla hoy!
