The Right Rev. Robert C. Wright, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and a Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School parent, charged the HIES community at Convocation Tuesday, with using “gracious words” this academic year.

“We have strength, wisdom, courage and kindness in each of us, and our job is to push that to the surface,” Wright said. “That’s the core of our Episcopal identity. Now, do we get push back? Of course we do, and that’s hard. But I know this will be done by those of you who really believe in it and deliver on it.”
