The Rev. Daniel Dice serves as the priest-in-charge at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Decatur. As an advocate for protecting our environment, Dice wanted to help his parishioners become better stewards of the earth. How? The solution was simple: solar energy.

Through a partnership with a for-profit solar installer, St. Timothy’s now receives $3,000 a year in rent to go towards a variety of church programs, including its annual Toys for Tots program.
