Dear Friend,
We are grateful you are exploring the call to become a Pilgrimage Leader for the Center’s Pilgrimage of Racial Healing program. This is more than a role—it is a sacred invitation to walk alongside others on a journey of reflection, truth-telling, and transformation, that calls forth leadership to restore dignity and justice.
Applications for the 2026 Pilgrimage Leader cohort are now closed. However, there are many other meaningful ways to partner with the Center in this work. Click here to learn more.
Our pilgrimages create brave spaces for sharing stories, confronting systemic injustice, and rediscovering human dignity as central to God’s dream of justice.
We are seeking individuals who:
- Have a heart for justice and a deep desire to create opportunities for spiritual reflection.
- Are willing to walk with others as we Respect, Realign, and Restore in alignment with God’s justice.
- Value the power of storytelling and the courage required to bring restoration to our communities.
Experience
While previous facilitation experience is helpful, it is not required. We will equip you with the tools, resources, and confidence you need. What matters most is your commitment, openness to learn, and ability to be fully present. With pilgrimages offered both online and in person, we welcome applicants from Georgia and across the country. The Pilgrimage of Racial Healing is informed by the richness of Christian scripture and grounded in the Episcopal Baptismal Covenant, calling us to seek justice, peace, and the dignity of all people. While rooted in this tradition, people of all faiths are warmly welcomed to serve as Pilgrimage Leaders.
