When you read about Jesus’ miracles it’s easy to get dazzled! But, read the accounts slowly and you’ll learn there’s a formula for most of Jesus’ miracles, a formula we can adopt. Jesus, again and again, had the audacity to bring situations and circumstances to speech. He saw the paralyzed man who had been laying on his back for thirty-eight years and Jesus spoke. My guess is that over the years, lots of folks saw him lying there but decided for one reason or the other that his situation and the possibility of his recovery was unspeakable. But, thank God we know, words ride on our holy God given breath. And that, “the power of life and death is in the tongue…,” not in our fear, avoidance and silence. So, speak life and healing and miracle out loud everywhere and in every situation. Who knows, you might be making a miracle.

Palabra
