Reverse

Oct 2, 2026

When our kids were young we played UNO. It’s a card game where each is dealt a hand, only in UNO one of the cards permits you to reverse the flow of the game. The bible tells us about a God who delights in playing the reverse card. Infertility is reversed. Mourners rejoice. Power is flipped on its head. Meekness wins the whole world. Now Jesus reminds us that “The stone rejected by builders becomes the head cornerstone….” God’s got a handful of reverse cards in God’s hand! That fact is the center of a godly hope. That fact gives us the confidence to endure until the reverse comes.

Psalm 18:22

Reversa
