We believe we are all sinners! This statement is not based on manipulation, guilt, shame or poor self-esteem. Being a sinner simply means we miss sometimes. It means we can be consumed by selfishness, pride, greed or circumstances that can induce an accidental or intentional blindness that results in indifference, cruelty and even violence towards God and our neighbor. It means we can build complex systems that establish and enshrine our sinfulness. You may not like the word, many don’t, but it intends to describe how otherwise decent people fail to do the good they should do or continue to practice the wrong they know they should shun. Sin means that there is more to being a human being than just logic. But, here’s the good news, Jesus loves sinners. He welcomed and dined with them. There is real freedom and health in acknowledging that we fall short and then accepting the love that will walk you down a new path.

¡Creemos que todos somos pecadores! Esta afirmación no se basa en la manipulación, la culpa, la vergüenza o la mala autoestima. Ser un pecador simplemente significa que fallamos a veces. Significa que podemos construir sistemas complejos que establecen y encapsulan nuestra pecaminosidad. Puede que no te guste esa palabra; a muchos no les gusta, pero tiene la intención de describir cómo las personas decentes no hacen el bien que deben hacer o continúan practicando el mal que saben que deben evitar. El pecado significa que hay mucho más en ser un ser humano que el pensamiento lógico. Pero aquí están las buenas noticias:Jesús ama a los pecadores. Les dio la bienvenida y cenó con ellos. Hay libertad genuina y salud en reconocer que fallamos y luego aceptar el amor que nos guiará por un nuevo camino.
