This Saturday evening, at 5:00 p.m., All Saints’ Episcopal Church Atlanta will hold a Vigil Service for Justice and Peace in the church. You are warmly invited to attend so that we can lift up the cries of God’s people and draw upon our resolve to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world. Whether you worship with us in person or online, you will be asked to pray for your neighbors near and far not merely in your hearts, but through your lives by engaging in acts of justice through advocacy, legal counsel, and financial support. Now is a time for us to pray and act, to speak up and to offer what we can of ourselves for the welfare of others; to stand together as a church as, in the words of Jeremiah, we seek the shalom of the city (Jeremiah 29:7).
