The purpose of the Office of Communications is to proclaim vividly and effectively the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Office of Communications oversees all Diocesan communications and digital evangelism efforts determined necessary for the advancement of the Gospel.

The Office of Communications provides resources and equips the people of the Diocese of Atlanta, with a particular focus on local congregations and ministries, to communicate effectively across multiple platforms. The Office of Communications provides management to consultants necessary to support Diocesan, ministry, and congregation digital communications.

So many volunteers and organizing hours go into Vacation Bible School that fewer churches are offering VBS after the pandemic. For the week of June 16-20 however, five parishes in the Diocese of Atlanta will buck that trend by partnering to provide full-day programming for children entering kindergarten through rising fifth-graders.

To sing in the choir or join communion at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, you needed the ability to climb: two stories to the choir loft, three steps to the altar rail. Today those barriers are gone after the recent renovation funded by a capital campaign with the slogan “Making Room for All.”
