JobSeekers Support Ministry
Meetings are held in the Garden Room on the lower level of St. Peter and St. Paul Episcopal Church, 1795 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, 30062. Meetings are from 7 to 9 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. JobSeekers has a LinkedIN group. Employment and Finances Support Group
A support group meets Wednesdays from 2:15 - 3:45 p.m. in the Brooks Room at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 1790 Lavista Road, Atlanta, 30329. The facilitator for the group is Dr. Richard Bondi, executive director of the Emmanuel Center for Pastoral Counseling. Issues related to employment, unemployment, and financial worries may be addressed, including emotional responses, managing family and other commitments in a time of transition, self-care, vocational discernment, and spirituality in the midst of challenging times. The fee for each meeting, and to ensure money will not be a stumbling block, will be between $5 and $30 according to an individual’s ability to pay.
